According to insights gathered by Vulius Sports, Simpson's preseason numbers—47-of-60 passing (78.3%) for 382 yards, three touchdowns, and zero interceptions—have been nothing short of impressive, sparking conversations about the Rams' quarterback depth chart.

A Preseason to Remember

Simpson's preseason debut against the Chiefs set the tone, as he completed 21 of 25 passes for 190 yards and two touchdowns. Thursday's outing was more of the same, with Simpson showing poise in the pocket, quick decision-making, and pinpoint accuracy on short and intermediate routes. However, despite his stellar play, the Rams appear committed to a redshirt season for the young signal-caller.
