Chicago Bears: Ben Johnson's Pinball Machine
Head coach Ben Johnson is confident, even talking about setting scoring records. It's not unfounded: Caleb Williams improved significantly last year, and the offense is loaded with young talent. The defense, though, is a major concern. They ranked 23rd in points allowed and 29th in yards allowed, and they relied on a fortunate turnover margin. The pass rush was nonexistent, and they didn't do much to fix it. Safety Coby Bryant was brought in to shore up the secondary, but he's out with a knee injury for most of the season. Detroit Lions: Offense Wins Championships (in Fantasy)
The Lions' offense is a fantasy right answer, offering continuity, an indoor schedule, and skill players we trust. But they'll need to score a lot because the defense is in shambles. The defense has collapse risk, especially with Micah Parsons returning slowly from a torn ACL. Even with Parsons last year, the Packers' defense was below average, ranking 19th in DVOA.
